Multistreams Operations Limited Short-let Agreement

The Renter (which expression shall, when the context so admits, include his personal representatives, Executors and Assigns) of the other part.

1. The Service Provider is a Limited liability Company registered under the appropriate laws of the Federation Republic of Nigeria and in charge of the website (https://therentalstream.com/) hereinafter called “The Short-let Platform”.
2. The Service Provider has agreed to let and the Renter has agreed to take for a short-let the apartment for non-commercial purposes upon the terms hereunder set out.
3. The Renter shall pay the agreed sum, which is slated per night to the Service Provider in advance, amounting to the agreed period before checking into the apartment.
4. The Renter shall make use of the apartment or premises for the period agreed and shall check in at the hour of 12 noon upon due compliance with the procedure of identification and payment verification. However, the Renter has the liberty to extend the period of stay, but the notification for extension shall be made at least 24 hours before the expiration of the initial period registered for.
5. A Security deposit of the sum of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira) shall be made in advance by the Renter if the short-let is between one day and five days, while the payment of the sum of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) is required for the short-let exceeding five days.
   1. The security deposit shall be made in advance and is refundable if no damages were incurred during the period of stay.
   2. The refund of the security deposit shall be made upon the verification and certification by the property owner before the Renter checks out.
   3. Where the damages observed exceed the security deposit, the Renter shall be liable for the excess cost, which shall be reconciled with the property owner.
6. The occupants or guests to be accessible to the apartment shall be limited to the number of persons specified or agreed, and the Service Provider shall not be accountable or liable for any unauthorized guests.
7. The Renter shall not, unless by mutual agreement to the contrary, engage in any of the following activities:
   1. Sublet or pass on to a third party his/her apartment within the duration of the short-let.
   2. Personally change, partition, or modify the structure, space, or layout of the apartment.
   3. Constitute a nuisance or perpetrate illegal activities in the apartment or within its appurtenances.
8. In situations where the Renter has consistently been deprived of the social amenities (e.g., power supply, water supply, internet facilities), the Renter shall be entitled to a considerable review of the expected consideration to be furnished on such days or periods of inconvenience, subject to an amicable agreement or negotiation by the parties.

Finally, by engaging in this rental arrangement, both the Renter and the Service Provider acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above. This agreement shall be considered valid and binding upon the Renter’s occupancy and payment for the period of stay. No further signatures are required for enforcement. Any amendments or disputes shall be handled in accordance with applicable rental laws and regulations.

Personal Property and Liability Disclaimer

The Renter acknowledges that all personal belongings and valuables brought onto the premises are done so at their own risk. The Service provider shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property, regardless of cause, unless such loss is directly attributable to a documented security breach or willful misconduct by the Service provider. Renter’s are advised to secure their valuables and ensure all entry points are locked when leaving the property. No claims for missing items will be entertained after check-out or without immediate written notification during the stay.

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which MULTISTREAMS OPERATIONS LIMITED collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://therentalstream.com/ website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by MULTISTREAMS OPERATIONS LIMITED.
